All genuine GBRacing secondary engine covers are designed and manufactured in the UK and have been developed over many years of racing at the highest level in conjunction with some of the world's best teams. As a result, both the design and the patented material have evolved to provide world class motorcycle protection, with the priority being oil containment to minimise the chances of injury to a following rider crashing on spilled lubricant.

The GBRacing trademark is registered in a number of countries worldwide, including but not limited to the UK, US and Europe. All our designs are registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. This means any sale of a counterfeit product in these registered territories is unlawful.

By buying counterfeit goods

  • you will not receive the same quality engine protection as genuine GBRacing, consequently jeopardising the protection of you and your bike.
  • you support criminals, that seek to profit from other people’s hard work.
  • you support the production of goods which may be made under inhumane conditions and inadequate health and safety standards.

  • you increase your tax rate because the counterfeiters do not pay taxes like lawful companies, so the government will ultimately need to collect more taxes from you.

    As a company, we are doing all we can to cut down on the illegal trade of counterfeit GBRacing goods – but we need your help.

  • The World’s most advanced radiator guard

    Originally designed and developed for the Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan, Etching Factory radiator and oil guards use the latest etching technology and manufacture exclusively from 0.8mm SUS304 Stainless Steel: providing the perfect balance between protection, airflow and weight. 

  • The design uses a dual mesh concept

    Directly behind the wheel a tighter pattern is used as this takes the majority of stones and debris, offering maximum protection to your radiator. Either side of your wheel, a wider pattern is used in order to provide maximum airflow into the radiator and improve motorcycle cooling efficiency.

  • We manufacture exclusively from SUS304

    Over years of testing and racing it was found that SUS304 Stainless Steel was the perfect material to balance strength, weight and cooling. Thanks to the strength of SUS304, we can adopt a relatively thin plate thickness (0.8mm) which keeps weight at a minimum. However, still being extremely strong, we are able to have a good width of mesh lines (opening ratio) in order to allow maximum airflow into the radiator.

  • Designed and manufactured in Japan

    All guards are designed specifically for each bike model, meaning fitment is easy and reliable and the radiator is structurally sound. All Etching Factory products are designed and manufactured in Japan to the highest quality.

Where are your products made?

All Etching Factory products are made in Osaka, Japan and are finished to the highest standards, synonymous with Japanese manufacturing.

Who do you use to ship my order?

We use exclusively UPS. Next day delivery service in the UK (signed for) and 2-5 days into Europe by road.

Do I pay taxes if ordering into the EU?

Purchasing in the UK, VAT is automatically charged. 

If you are purchasing in Europe, please note, VAT is not included. UPS will email you to request the local customs duties and taxes. You will have to pay this to UPS before you can receive your goods.

Your returns policy?

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please return it to us in a resalable condition as soon as possible. We will issue a full refund excluding shipping.
